It was the most beautiful day,
beyond what any words could say.
The sun was out and bright,
her body feeling light.
She ran out to him,
wiping ice cream off of his chin.
They hugged and kissed,
and quickly reminisced.
When she led him inside,
she saw he was trying to hide.
A box, it looked like,
small and white.
He told her to close her eyes,
and he'd give her a big surprize.
He told her to open them again,
and she saw a diamond ring.
She started to cry,
as he asked her with a nervous sigh.
"Would you be my wife,
and fulfill my life?"
She answered yes, so fast,
she was so aghast.
Then he said, "Ha, ha,
what a joke, ha, ha.
I'm really an elephant from Africa."
